Founder Oleta Thomas is the driving force behind Golden Touch.   Vivacious, devoted and enthusiastic, Oleta’s top priority is making her clients happy.  Oleta is both an accredited Wedding Coordinator with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and a Decor Designer that received certification through The Wedding Decorators. Born and raised in the tropical oasis of Trinidad and Tobago, Oleta had always loved planning Caribbean-themed events for family and friends.  Once she moved to Canada, Oleta was determined to spread that love and passion for event planning and décor design.

 

Over the years, Oleta has planned and executed an array of successful weddings to the delight of many happy brides.   Weddings in particular are Oleta's specialty and she very much enjoys learning about and incorporating unique cultural traditions and customs whenever requested.  In addition, Oleta has ample experience planning fundraisers, birthdays and networking events.
